Elizabeth Demaray
Elizabeth Demaray is an interdisciplinary artist and sculptor whose work explores the intersections of ecology, technology, science, and design. Through projects that incorporate living organisms, artificial intelligence, and speculative futures, she examines humanity’s relationship with the natural world and the environmental challenges of the present and future. Her work has received support from organizations including NASA and the National Science Foundation and has been recognized with awards and residencies from MoMA PS1, Socrates Sculpture Park, Art Omi, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Demaray is also a professor at Rutgers University–Camden, where she leads programs in sculpture and intermedia arts.
