Vexta
Vexta is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist from Sydney, Australia. Her career began in the mid-2000s where she made her mark as one of the first female street-artists of the Street Art & Graffiti Movement. She is known for her striking use of color and blending psychedelic imagery with themes like activism, mythology, cosmology, and consciousness. She has been exhibited alongside fellow street artist, Banksy, at the 2008 Cans Festival and featured in his successful documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop. Her work is held in major collections, including The National Gallery of Australia and recently included in the definitive Thames & Hudson, World of Art: Street Art & Graffiti book as one of only 4 female street artists.
